In this first webinar: Caree in our OPEN2020 series international headhunter Tony Talbot gives advice to Westminster students about finding a job in today’s job market. He looks at the nature of the job market today, the hidden job market, networking and visibility, and targeting your efforts.

Tony points out that the average job opening attracts 250 applications while 75% of hiring or recruitment managers use recruitment and/or applicant tracking software in the process, and only 2% of applicants get called for an interview. This was before COVID! As he suggests there needs to be a better way of finding a job.

It doesn’t matter what sector you are interested in, the principles remain the same.
